The Department of Intellectual Property, MoEA conducted a one-day awareness workshop on Copyright and Related Rights on 27th January, 2020 at City Hotel Thimphu. The main objective of the workshop was to sensitize the creators and users of copyright works on pertinent topics such as the basic concepts of copyright & related rights, enforcement of rights and management of copyright works. The workshop was also aimed to provide an opportunity to engage the relevant stakeholders to discuss issues and challenges concerning the current copyright system and propose measure to address any redundancies and deficiencies in the system.
